The Regional Office of Education #13 Preschool for All program at South Central invites children who will be 3 years old on or before September 1, 2020 to sign up for a Fall Preschool screening for possible enrollment! Please contact Morgan Ice at mice@roe13.org to receive an online screening questionnaire or if you have any questions. An in person screening through KSED will take place at a later date. Preschool morning and afternoon classes will attend school on an AB schedule. Half of the class on Monday/Wednesday and the other half on Tuesday/Thursday with Friday’s remote learning. Complete remote learning options are available for families that request them. Any child enrolled completely remote will still be enrolled in the PFA program and will be guaranteed a physical spot in the classroom if and when families choose to do so. SCMS will have a collection and distribution day on Friday, May 15th for all students! Please read this message closely for specific times that each grade will bring items that students will be returning and collecting. Grade / Time: 6th Grade - 12:00-1:30pm 7th Grade - 1:30-3:00pm 8th Grade - 3:00-4:30pm All 6th -8th Grade Items to Bring and Collect! Chromebook and Charger - Chromebooks must be cleaned! Dirty Chromebooks will not be accepted! Any damage to chromebook and/or charger will be addressed at collection and a bill for damages will be sent at a later date. Library/Classroom Library/Novels/Textbooks - All books will be collected and inspected for damage at collection. Any damages will be noted during collection and a bill for damages will be sent at a later date. Students will be charged for all library/classroom library/novels/textbooks they do not return! Student items from lockers - All hall and PE locker materials have been cleaned out and items have been put into bags labeled with students name listed on the bag. The students locker bag will be picked up at the same time they drop off their chromebook, charger, etc... Pictures - Spring pictures and sport pictures taken this spring will be distributed during this time as well. Awards - All Academic and Athletic award winners have been post to Facebook and the South Central Schools website. Award winners will collect their awards during this time as well. Congratulations to all award winners!! 8th Grade ONLY! Graduation Gowns - 8th grade graduation gowns will be picked up during this distribution day as well. Any student that ordered graduation apparel from Joston's will pick that order up when they pick up their gown. Reimbursements - 8th grade students each paid $22 for their Holiday World tickets and $6 each for trip to play at EPC for a total of $28. We have deducted the $20 cost of their graduation gowns and will be giving each student a refund of $8.
