Due to Covid restrictions/cautions, SCMS will not be having our in person Veterans Day lunch. We are however providing a drive-thru lunch for veterans! A drive-thru veterans lunch invitation was sent home last week with students. If you have a veteran that would like to receive a spaghetti dinner next Wednesday, Nov. 10th, please fill out and return the invitation by this Friday. Thank you, and Thank You Veterans!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE
VOLLEYBALL SECTIONAL, MONDAY, NOVEMBER 1.
Game time is 5:30 pm at Wayne City HS vs NCOE.
Gates open for fans at 4:45 pm.
South Central fans should park in the back of the school off Summit Ave and enter those doors.
Tickets are not available at the door. They must be purchased through the link below.

Volleyball Sectional Information
The Lady Cougars will play in the Sectional at Wayne City High School on Monday at 5:30 against Norris City/Omaha Enfield (NCOE)!!!

Don't forget Red Ribbon Week is next week! The dress up days are as follows:
Monday- Wake Up Drug Free (pajama day)
Tuesday- Put a Cap on Drugs (hat day)
Wednesday- Peace Out Drugs (tie-dye day)
Thursday- Give Drugs the Boot (western day)
Each day there will be prizes for best dressed!
FBLA Popcorn orders are due Monday, October 25. Sell that popcorn! This helps reduce your cost for the conferences!
FBLA members: there is a signup sheet outside Mrs. Riehm's door for times to help for and during the Fall Festival. Please sign up! Also, bring in candy to hand out to the kids that will be trick or treating that night.
There will be an OKAW Tour October 27. Please let Mrs. Chasteen know if you are interested. This is for anyone who is considering attending OKAW next year.
Those interested in running for homecoming court, please sign up with Mrs. Roth by October 28. The homecoming dance will be December 4.
The Fall Festival will be Friday, October 29 from 6-8 pm. The main hallway doors should be decorated by October 27 and everyone will vote for their favorite door by casting their dollars/coins in each door's bucket. Community members will be trick or treating from 6-8 pm so each door will need to have someone there to hand out candy. Also, there will be concessions and games in the gym. Tickets needed for each ($1 per ticket). Any club/organization/group/sport that wants to participate, just let Mrs. Riehm know soon.
The Hamilton movie showing will be Friday, November 5 at 5:30 p.m. in the media center. Please see Mr. Bridges to confirm your attendance.
