South Central Parents and students are invited to attend an information meeting on Jan. 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the South Central Middle School cafeteria and learn about the NEW South Central Clay Target trap team and how students can become a member. The 5th grade students came to the Kindergarten classes to read to them! The kids enjoyed listening to the stories! We are so proud of our students at South Central Elementary and their willingness to do kind things for others!
Everyone was all smiles in Mrs. Decker’s 1st Grade Class celebrating Christmas! They had a Pajama Palooza Day and looked so adorable in their Christmas attire!!!
Mrs. King’s 1st grade class had a merry time celebrating Christmas!!! They had a Christmas Movie Day on Pajama Day and they loved the books they got for Christmas!!!
Santa came to Mrs. Doehring's 2nd grade classroom to ask students what they want for Christmas and if they were good girls and boys this year!
The Elementary’s End of 2nd Quarter Assembly was a hit!! Teachers and the December Students of the Month had to create a winter object using assorted items from PE class!! There were some very creative items! Mrs. Amy and Alexander were the winners with their snowflake!! Great job everyone!!
Mr. Alex and Ms. Jess had Mrs. Amy’s class playing a huge version of Battleship!!
They had to place their bowling pins then try to knock down the other teams! Every so often they would get a “spy” to check the other side for a few seconds! The kids had a great time!!

Mrs. Reed’s 4th Grade class designed and created very unique gingerbread house! There were some great descriptions and stories that went ago each house! Very creative ideas!
We had some great WOW helper to end out the month of December!!
K-2nd grade students heard the story “Gingerbread Baby” by Jan Brett during Read Alouds with Mrs. Guy and Mrs. Twyla! After the story, the students were able to create their own gingerbread house treat!!
