South Central Elementary will be celebrating "Dr. Seuss Week" Feb 26th-March 1st!
Our morning PreK class had their Valentine's party on Wednesday and had fun making slime and our afternoon class had their party on Thursday and invited ECE to watch the dancing hearts experiment. Both morning and afternoon classes enjoyed playing with Playdoh, dancing to the Jack Hartman Valentine Freeze dance, enjoyed treats, and making love bugs.
Cougar basketball tonight vs North Clay is canceled. It has been rescheduled for tomorrow night 2/17/24. JV game at 6:15 and Varsity to follow. We will do Senior recognition between the JV and Varsity game. Thank you

SCMS's very own Madisyn Peddicord, Bayle Brown, and Kennah Hiestand were selected to this year's area All Star team! The All Stars competed against and won over the OBC All Star team this past Saturday! Congratulations girls! We are proud of you!!
For January WOW Day, students participated in Mindfulness!
Mrs. Kramer’s Kindergarten Class had fun doing 100th Day activities! They sorted 100 objects, stacked 100 cups, made a gum ball machine with 100 gum balls, and had a snack with 100 pieces of food!
Mrs. Patrick's ECE students brought snow inside, then read a story and made play dough snowmen!
Mrs. King's 1st Grade Class had a great 100th Day Celebration!

Mrs. Decker's 1st Grade Class had some 100 year old ladies in their class today! They had a lot of fun celebrating the 100th Day of School!
This first grade student in Mrs. Decker's class received a WOW Ticket for good behavior! She chose to read a book to her class!
