At South Central Elementary, we work every day to help the students develop a love of reading! It was Read Aloud Day in K-2nd Grade! Mrs. Guy and Mrs. Twyla love Christmas and they love moose! They shared the book "Merry Moosey Christmas" by Lynn Plourde! They sang "Jingle Bells" and each student received a Christmas moose to remind them of our story! It's hard to say who has more fun with Read Alouds, the kiddos or Mrs. Guy and Mrs. Twyla! We wish you all a "Merry Moosey Christmas!"

The K-2nd Grade Enrichment students in Mrs. Guy and Mrs. Twyla's class learned a lot of fun interesting facts about cranberries! Cranberries have 4 hollow air chambers that allow them to float. They were challenged to create a "cranberry raft" that would not sink and support weight! Great job, kids!!!
