Tomorrow your students will be bringing home a personalized plan for their next 4 years at SCHS. This plan is tentatively created to help align their courses as they move towards graduation and ensure they meet all requirements. Mrs. Hawkey has worked on this with them and is happy to answer any questions you might have via email at khawkey@southcentralschools.org
Today's Wooden Bat Tournament has been pushed back to allow field prep to be done. The first game of the day will now start at 11 am.
SCMS: Due to a circumstances out of our control, tomorrows TRACK MEET at Teutopolis Junior High has been canceled. The track team will practice after school until 4:30.

SCMS yearbooks: You can order your 25-26 yearbook by going to iconikschools.com or scan the QR code in the flyer. Select yearbook ordering and school name. Complete the student, class and payment information. Yearbook orders must be placed online and will be delivered to the school. Cost of the yearbook is $19.50. Thank you.
SCMS: Reminder that Kaskaskia College Parent night for 8th grade parents is on Monday April 13 from 6:00 to 7:00 pm in the SCMS cafeteria. You will learn about the KC career pathways tool and start planning for high school courses and KC Dual Credit courses. Thank you
High School NHS Induction will be held on 4/28 at 6:30 pm in the SCHS cafeteria.

SCMS 8th Grade Parents: Tomorrow we will be going to Kaskaskia College for the Career Conference. As mentioned, students will leave at 8:30am and return at the end of the day. They will get to listen to presenters listed on their schedules sent home earlier this week about future careers. We will provide a light snack for them mid day. At the end of the last sessions we will go to the park (weather pending) to eat their lunch provided, or brought if previously selected, and then return back to school. We will not be stopping anywhere to purchase food, so students do NOT need to bring money with them. If you have questions, please email Mrs. Hawkey at khawkey@southcentralschools.org
SCMS scholastic book fair has been set for 4/27/26 to 5/1/26 in the SCMS library.
SCMS: Reminder - The 8th grade dance is on Saturday April 11th from 6 pm to 10 pm at the Wedding Barn. To help cover the cost of the event, we are asking for a $30 donation per child. Donation can be turned into the middle school today or tomorrow to Mrs. Lowry. Thank you.
