On Friday, May 8th is "Be the Yellow Day." Students at SCES will read the Story "Yellow" with Mrs. Hawkey during her class lessons. This book reminds us all to seek out and find the people who make our days brighter, or more yellow, just by being the kind people they are. That challenge to others has sparked a worldwide movement called Yellow Day or Make Someone’s Day Yellow!" So to celebrate this day, we ask that everyone wear YELLOW!

The Spring Band Concert for 4th & 5th Grade and the High School band will be on Thursday, May 14th @ 1:30 in the Elementary School gymnasium. Parents are invited to attend, and we hope to see you there!
SCMS band and choir students need to wear something nice to school on Thursday April 30th. No shorts, cutoffs, t-shirts or jeans with holes in them. Tomorrow your students will be bringing home a personalized plan for their next 4 years at SCHS. This plan is tentatively created to help align their courses as they move towards graduation and ensure they meet all requirements. Today's Wooden Bat Tournament has been pushed back to allow field prep to be done. The first game of the day will now start at 11 am.
