
South Central Pre-K had a fun field trip to Ballard Nature Center last Friday, despite the rain. They were able to explore the displays and exhibits, bird watch, and play in the kid's area.

Mrs. Lotz’s 2nd Grade class had fun eating apples with caramel and making Johnny Appleseed crafts!






Mrs. Kramer's Kindergarten class had a lot of apple fun with apple taste testing, Johnny Appleseed hats, and making apple crisp!!!

Mrs. Lother's 5th Class did a great job making models of plant and animal cells!!! They were all very unique! Great job, kids!

K-2 had their first read aloud time with Mrs. Doehring today! They read the story “The Leaf Thief”. They also talked about fall and played some fun fall games.










South Central Elementary has had a productive week regardless of the full moon!!!











Mrs. Kramer's class is learning about the letter M! M is for marshmallows!





Congratulations to our South Central Marching Band on the 1st place finish in the Jr/Sr division at the Jasper County Fall Festival! And congratulations for the Most Outstanding in their class award to the South Central Color Guard!


SCMS softball and baseball pictures will be taken on Sept. 23rd! Please make sure your athlete bring their uniform to school with them on Monday!!

We are so PROUD of our elementary students and staff for supporting Patriot Day yesterday! We loved all the red, white, and blue!
