Good Morning!
If you received the yellow packet from "Miles of Smiles", could you please fill it out and get it to the school office by tomorrow. The school will need to let the dentist know how many will be utilizing the follow up care.
Thank you!

At the end of the day, they were able to visit their “Coffee Shop” and purchase hot chocolate, sprinkle, whipped cream and cookies!!!

South Central Elementary Spring Picture Day is Wednesday, April 10th!

Both of Mrs. O’Leary’s 5th Grade reading classes adopted Peeps today! We did a writing activity where students had to name their peep, share their favorite foods, activities, hobbies, and had to write about a day in the life of their peep. We ended the class period by eating some Peeps!

A couple of weeks ago, South Central PreK had a field trip to Ballard's Nature Center. This brought our insect study to life! In the lobby, we saw a sculpture of a giant praying mantis, ladybugs, and the aphids that they eat. We had just read about ladybugs eating aphids in "The Grouchy Ladybug." Inside the museum, we saw stuffed animals, fish and turtles in the aquariums, arrowheads, and animal furs. Some of us also enjoyed the Wetland trail and found a crayfish claw and some nut shells. We finished by playing on their playground and enjoying the outdoors!
