On Tuesday some of our South Central FFA members helped to gather Yield Predictions for Corn and Soybeans in Fayette County. Thank you to Fayette County Farm Bureau for inviting our students
The weather was beautiful. Lots of variability was found in yield expectations but the combines will tell the whole story this fall.
The averages for each came out to 178.92 bu/acre for corn with a range from 68-297 and the Soybean prediction was 51.02 bu/acre with a range from 10-70.
