National Honor Society inductions will be tomorrow April 28th at 6:30pm in the cafeteria.
Academic Awards night will be held May 12, at 7pm in the gym.
There will be a foreign language club meeting in Mrs. Lybarger's room today during 6th hour lunch.
The Elks Chicken Dinner Fundraiser was a big success! The winner of the Big Ticket Selling Contest was Adam Yates selling 42 dinners. Congratulations to Adam! Second place goes to Jillian Jones at 22. Addy Ruholl sold 17. Katherine Snyder sold 16. Konrad Bergman Sold 13. The real winners are the participants from the Sophomore and Freshman classes. They impressed the staff of the Salem Elks Lodge. I had customer after customer compliment the students for their service and respectfulness. I am so proud of them! Thank you to all for the wonderful desserts. They were delicious! We had no leftovers. Thanks again to everyone who made this fundraiser a success! Mr. Owens
This week is Foreign Language Week! This is a celebration of all languages and countries hosted by Foreign Language Club.
Today: Tacky Tourist
Wednesday: Culture Day (traditional wear of different countries and cultures)
Thursday: Dynamic Duo (language allows us to connect with others)
Friday: Colors Day! (Wear bright colors)
The best dressed individual for each day will receive a prize.
This week Foreign Language Club will also be selling bracelets through the Pulsera Project. All bracelets are made by individuals in Spanish speaking countries and the proceeds go back to them.
Foreign Language Club invites you to attend our Loteria Bingo Night. This will be held on Wednesday April 29th from 5:30-7pm in the cafeteria. We would love for you to join us for bingo, face painting, a photo booth, and more! All family and friends are welcome!
