On Thursday, April 9, the South Central Middle School 8th Graders had the opportunity to go to LakeLand College for a Career Fair. Students listened to a motivational speaker and then were allowed to visit with several professionals with a wide range of Career backgrounds.
On Friday, April 10, SCMS 8th Graders attended the Kaskaskia College Campus to attend 5 educational sessions. Students chose the sessions based on Careers that were of interest to them. 8th Graders moved around the campus and learned from different professionals.
