South Central High School will administer the PreACT/ACT on Wednesday, March 25. Seniors are not required to attend on this date.
Lunch will be provided for all students. Students may be dismissed after completing their exam if they have transportation arranged and have received prior approval to ride with another student. Students without transportation will remain at school until the regular dismissal time for bus or parent pick-up.
Due to varying test durations and the possibility of unforeseen technological issues, the following dismissal times are approximate:
Freshmen: 11:30 a.m. (not including lunch, if they choose to stay)
Sophomores: 11:00 a.m. (not including lunch, if they choose to stay)
Juniors: 12:30 p.m. (not including lunch, if they choose to stay)
If your student is approved to leave after testing time, you must call the school by end of day Tuesday March 24th and tell the office. Students will not be permitted to leave early Wednesday without prior permission and the office will not be accepting call outs on Wednesday. Students will not be allowed to text parents to pick them up on the day of the test.
