The Board approved the minutes, bills, and treasurer’s report.
The Board approved the superintendent amending the 2023-2024 budget to adjust balances accordingly.
The Board approved an interfund loan from the working cash fund to debt service for $28,000.
The Board approved paying dues to the IESA for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Board approved advertising for food and fuel bids for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Board approved a first reading of the IASB Press Policy revisions for March 2024.
The Board approved 3 field trips to St. Louis. These trips were to the STL Zoo on April 26, STL Cardinals Game on May 8, and Incredible Pizza on May 9.
The Board hired Doug Owens as a High School Math instructor for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Board hired Tony Farthing as a Special Education teacher for SCES/SCMS for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Board hired Karrie Davis as a support staff member for SCHS effective April 18, 2024.
The Board appointed Bethany Lowry to be SCMS Cheer Sponsor for the 2024-2025 school year.
The Board approved a leave of absence for Erica Fox for April 23-26, 2024.
The Board granted a leave of absence for Trudy Bell for March 11-22 and also accepted her resignation effective the end of the 2023-2024 school year.
The Board accepted the resignation from Trevor Markley as Head SCMS Basketball Coach and also SCMS 5th-6th Coach, effective April 29, 2024.
The Board accepted a letter of retirement from Shirley White effective August 5, 2024.
The Board approved paying $2,000 toward helping students attend the National FBLA conference in Orlando Florida to use toward expenses.
