The Board approved the minutes, bills, and treasurer’s report.
The Board heard a summary report from Superintendent Kerry Herdes on the 2022-2023 budget with all funds being in the black.
The Board hired FGM architects for the construction project at SCMS as presented.
The Board hired Poettker Construction Company as the Construction Manager for the construction project at SCMS.
The Board discussed funding options for the construction project at SCMS. The current plan uses ESSER 3 federal grant funds to pay for 60% of the cost. The rest of the cost can come from sales tax revenue or cash reserves or operation and maintenance balances – all funds the board currently has in place.
The Board updated sports officials pay to coincide with conference schools for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Board approved Sports Season Pass fees for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Board amended graduation requirements to go from 26 credits to 23 credits to align with area schools.
The Board approved the annual Hazardous Conditions Letter for the 2022-2023 school year.
The Board approved the OKAW resolution for the 2023-2024 school year.
The Board approved the Administrative/Teacher Salary Report for the 2021-2022 school year.
The Board approved 2 field trips - one to the Millikin Vocal Festival and one for the Physics Class to Six Flags.
The Board heard reports from building principals Sara Rose, Greg Grinestaff, James VanScyoc, and Jake Skibinski.
The Board heard a report from Superintendent Kerry Herdes about the RISE program and what it could do in regard to being an option for distance learning.
The Board hired Emily Reynolds, Kendra Peddicord, and Ron Zinser as support staff members.
The Board hired Audrey Prusa as web tech, Shane Lother and Ashley Rose as lunchroom monitors.
The Board approved volunteer assistants: Laney Webster, Ean Fox, Logan Lotz, and Spencer Johannes.
