Anyone interested in donating blood next Monday needs to sign up inMr. Lapington's room. Later in the week there will be a sign-up in study hall.
Money has to be turned in tomorrow for all students attending the Band/Choir trip on April 30.
Prom coronation practice is today during HR.
Grand March practice will be Friday during 8th hour. This is for everyone that is attending prom.
Seniors – please see Mr. Lapington today to put your name on a decal for the senior shirt.
Freshmen and Sophomores - Please sign up to serve at prom. We can talk to FBLA sponsors. Maybe this could be used as your volunteer service that many of you still need.
JUNIORS and anyone else that would like to help ---- Decorating for prom begins right after school on Friday. Working together means we will get done quickly!
FBLA members: Haley sold another 29 boxes of Puffins this weekend. The Puffins company said if we sell 21 more Puffins we will get free shipping. Those of you who didn't sell the first time, please pick up an order form today!
Anyone boys basketball player who is interested in going to team camp should get there $50 deposit in to Coach Simmons as quickly as possible.
Post prom permission forms are available in the office. Please take note – this is a 2 sided form! Forms are due back by 3 p.m. TODAY.
After school band rehearsals continue on Tuesday and Thursday.
Choir will practice April 23, April 30, and May 7. Please try to attend! These will be the only after school rehearsals before the spring concert.
The spring concert will be held at the high school on May 13.
The yearbook staff will be taking an all school picture next Wed, April 30 during home room. We will meet in the gym immediately after announcements.

Baseball Cougars Headed to Busch Stadium
On Sunday, June 1st, the South Central Baseball Cougars will be traveling to St. Louis to play the Mattoon Green Wave at Busch Stadium. The game will be played immediately following the Cardinals 1:15 P.M. match up with the San Francisco Giants. The Cougars and Green Wave will play as many innings as their 2 ˝ hour time slot will allow and all the fans will be permitted to move down to the field box seats during the game.
The Cougars are required to sell 800 tickets for the Cardinal game and they will go on sale immediately. The $41.00 right field pavilion seats can be purchased from any high school baseball player or through the school office at $25.00 each. Also, each ticket sold will receive a voucher for a free hot dog and soda.
